In order to make an informed decision, especially one that involves capital investment, a feasibility study should be conducted. For CHP this involves consideration of your existing facility and its infrastructure, a look at current power and gas costs, heat/power requirements, and possible installation locations. Utility supply and regulations also need to be examined. In some instances, a CHP owner can sell extra power back to the utility. Also, you may qualify for government incentives that are in place to encourage CHP systems uptake.

Commissioning

After installation and before a system is placed in normal operation, Commissioning is done to completely check and test the installation parameters and built in safeties that are a part of the system as designed and installed. This is to ensure that everything works as it was designed, and for regulatory compliance, both for the unit manufacturer and the utility provider.

Operation and Maintenance

We can provide training and operations manuals for on-site operation personnel. Regular scheduled maintenance is required as these are machines that operate continuously. We are trained and experienced at exactly that on CHP units, and our service and maintenance plans are designed to make those costs predictable and budgetable.

Remote monitoring

Due to the high run-time on CHP units, they should be monitored remotely and by on-site personnel. We offer 24/7 remote monitoring, and we can make many adjustments remotely. This is to ensure maximum efficiency by early notification of problems and operating conditions. This is required during any warranty period, and recommended for normal operation.
